- Juniors with Senior Status

Selected juniors will from time to time be awarded senior status at the discretion of the tennis committee. The number of such juniors will be limited to ensure that it is viewed as an honour and something to aspire to.

Criteria for Granting Senior Status

o has achieved a high level of tennis ability for their age,

o is enthusiastic and actively supports the club,

o demonstrates a mature and polite behaviour.

Benefits

o has the same court booking rights as seniors, any floodlit or indoor bookings must be paid for,

o can play in organised social tennis sessions,

o can be selected to play in an adult team for the club,

o enables the member to integrate better into the club.

Selection Process

o The tennis committee will from time to time consider recommendations from the head coach and club director, based on the above criteria. Applications from members will not be accepted.

o A junior member who is granted senior status will be advised by letter.

o A list of juniors with senior status will be posted on the notice board and advised to organisers of social tennis.

o A junior can have their senior status removed at any time as a disciplinary action.
